Amanda Spence was a scientist employed by Project Cadmus.

Physical appearance[]

Dr. Spence is an African-American woman with brown hair. When working, she wears a white lab coat over a light green or brown turtleneck with a dark pencil skirt. She also wears glasses and diamond-shaped stud earrings. When not working, she wears an olive-green trench coat with tan boots and a white scarf.

History[]

2010[]

Spence was part of Project Kr at Cadmus. She was present when Superboy cracked another containment pod while experiencing an illusion of fighting Superman. Desmond ordered her to replace the pod, not for the first time, and she reassured one of her colleagues that Superboy was not conscious and only responding to what the G-Gnomes were showing him.[3]

After Superboy was freed and Desmond defeated, Guardian was put in charge of Cadmus and Spence was made acting chief scientist.[5]

Spence was reluctant to allow Superboy back into Cadmus, and was shocked when he accused her of creating another super-clone. All her research was now focused on medical genetic experiments. Project Match was not hers, despite what Superboy claimed, and when it broke loose, she was terrified of it.[2]

  • In the comics, Amanda Spence is a field operative from the Agenda, and major rogue for Superboy. She took part in a mission to capture Superboy, and eventually murdered his girlfriend Tana Moon.
  • Dr. Amanda Spence was designed by Character Designer Jerome Moore.[8]
  • This is her first animated appearance.
