Physical appearance Edit

Dr. Spence is an African-American with brown hair. When working, she wears a white lab coat over a light green or brown turtleneck with a dark pencil skirt. She also wears glasses.

Doctor Spence was an assistant to Mark Desmond in his genomorph research.[3]

After Superboy was freed and Desmond defeated, Guardian was put in charge of Cadmus and Spence was made acting chief scientist.[4]

Spence was reluctant to allow Superboy back into Cadmus, and was shocked when he accused her of creating another super-clone. All her research was now focused on medical genetic experiments. Project Match was not hers, despite what Superboy claimed, and when it broke loose, she was terrified of it.[2]

  • In the comics, Amanda Spence is a field operative from the Agenda, and major rogue for Superboy. She took part in a mission to capture Superboy, and eventually murdered his girlfriend Tana Moon.
  • Dr. Amanda Spence was designed by Character Designer Jerome Moore.[7]
  • This is her first animated appearance.
