Amistad and Lian Nguyen-Harper were "larvae-sat" by Forager while Raquel, Will and the others left to deal with a kidnapping conducted by Task Force X. Amistad and Lian overflowed the punch bowl by filling it with potato salad.[2]

Raquel prepared to drop Amistad off at his father's before she left for a Justice League mission. She had some difficulty as he insisted on putting on a hat she could not find before leaving. After eventually finding the hat, they took the subway. Amistad was vocal about his dislike of a nearby woman's perfume, to Raquel's embarrassment. Amistad did not react well when they had to get off at a different stop than usual due to construction work.

They arrived at Noble's apartment, who had Amistad's toy cars out with the wheels up, just as Amistad liked. Noble and Raquel were due to have a school meeting in a few days to discuss Amistad's IEP, but Raquel would not be back in time for it. Amistad played with his toy cars as Raquel said goodbye to him. He responded by tapping her hand.[3]
