Apokoliptan gunships are warships capable of operating in- and outside of a planetary atmosphere. They have been in use by Apokolips for centuries at least.[1]

13th century[]
At the turn of the 13th century, Darkseid invaded Earth, taking a fleet of gunships with him. Though the forces of Genghis Khan were vastly outmatched, their meta-powers impressed Darkseid.[1]
2018[]

A number of gunships took part in an attack on Rann. They deployed Parademons, and one released Plasma as a living weapon.[2]

Kalibak and a trio of gunships boom tubed to the second Armada fleet and destroyed them using a meta-human bomb.[1]
