The Arrow family[1] and Team Arrow[2] are informal names used by the heroes and protégés asociated with Green Arrow to collectively refer to themselves.

History[]

Early history[]

Oliver Queen started his career as Green Arrow in 2001.[3] Dinah Lance became Black Canary in 2007.[4] Green Arrow took Roy Harper on as his protégé, Speedy, in the same year.[5] Shortly thereafter, Roy was captured and replaced with a clone[6]

2010[]

On July 4, angry at being treated like a sidekick, Speedy left Green Arrow.[7] Sometime after he began using the name Red Arrow.[8]

In late July, Artemis Crock began patrolling Gotham City as a vigilante. She was discovered by Batman and Green Arrow the following month, and Arrow took her on as his protégé, Artemis.[9][10]

On September 29,[11][12] Green Arrow and Black Canary got engaged.[13]

On December 31, 2010, the fact Red Arrow was a clone was finally uncovered. He was determined to find the "real" Roy.[14]

2015[]

Sometime after February,[15] Artemis retired as a hero.[16]

2016[]

On February 28, Red Arrow and Cheshire found the original Roy. On March 21, after recovering, he took on the idenity of Arsenal.[6]

On March 19, Artemis faked her death to go undercover to infiltrate Black Manta's organisation and the Light.[17] She adopted the new identity Tigress.[18] Her undercover mission ended on June 19.[19] She briefly resumed the Artemis identity, but chose to use Tigress going forward following Kid Flash's death on the following day.[20]

2016-2018[]

Sometime after recovering the original Roy, the clone Roy changed his name to Will.[21] He did not go back to the hero life, instead taking care of his new family and starting a business, Bowhunter Security.[22]

In 2017,[23] Cissie King-Jones became Arrowette, another protégé to Green Arrow.[21]
