Background information[]
- Atlas is a Titan who bears the world on his shoulders. Aside from being one of Captain Marvel's elders, he also appeared in Silver Age Superman stories as a rival to the affection of Lois Lane. He repeatedly committed to childish and petty competitions of strength with his fellow time traveler Hercules.
- This is his fourth animated appearance. He appeared in the 1970s Shazam! series (on which his appearance in Young Justice is based), the animated movie All-Star Superman and the Shazam! shorts for DC Nation.
