The Bat-signal is a searchlight in Gotham City. If it is turned on, a stylized image of a bat will appear on the clouds.

2009[]
Talia al Ghul met Batman at the Bat-signal, where he broke off their relationship.[1]
2018[]
Due to the mounting political pressure against vigilantes working outside the United Nations, Commissioner Gordon disassociates the GCPD from the ex-Justice Leaguer Batman by shutting down the "infamous" Bat-signal.[2]
2019[]
With the Outsiders and the Justice League now highly popular, Gordon reactivated the Bat-signal before a cheering crowd.[3]
