Following his resignation from the Justice League on July 27, 2018, Batman assembled a new covert operations team mostly consisting of former members of the Justice League and the Team as part of plan to better combat meta-human trafficking and the Light. Black Lightning derisively nicknamed it Batman Incorporated (or Batman Inc.).[1][2] The younger members were grouped into a squad led by Robin.[3]

Batman, Robin and Oracle secretly coordinated the group's activities with the leaders of the League, the Team and Nightwing's team as what Robin dubbed the "Anti-Light". After this was exposed, the team was disbanded on February 24, 2019 and its members joined or rejoined the Justice League and the Team.[4]

The Watchtower
July 27, 19:57 EDT

Batman's team was established after he resigned from the Justice League following sanctions put on the League by Lex Luthor in his new role as Secretary-General of the United Nations. In this coordinated walkout, he took a number of allies with him. Batman set out to form a covert team who were able to achieve goals in service of the greater good that the League would now be unable to do.[1] As well as his former League and Team colleagues, he recruited Metamorpho[5] and Orphan.[3]

Robin's squad was tasked with following Mad Hatter. They discovered "Hatter" was in fact Clayface, who was posing as him to keep up the appearance that Hatter was complying with his parole. Spoiler used a liquid tracker on Clayface, which allowed them to follow him to Hatter's base of operations, where he was using nanotech to mind control meta-humans. Hatter set a self-destruct in the base and escaped with an enthralled meta. Clayface was caught in the blast, but was reconstituted and captured. Robin had stolen a control device and freed Clayface from the nanotech control.[3]

Santa Prisca
October 12, 04:00 ECT

Batman, Katana and Metamorpho took the Batplane to Santa Prisca to investigate the League of Shadows relocation, find out its new leadership, and find out if Tara Markov was with them. After Oracle took remote control, they skydived onto the island. Batman separated from the other two, and each made their way through the jungle. Batman got into the Shadows' HQ first and observed Deathstroke talking with Lady Shiva, getting confirmation of their roles and that Tara was no longer there.

The squad went to leave via a Venom boat, but Bane was waiting for them, and Deathstroke and Shiva soon followed. After a brief fight, Oracle brought in the Batplane, provided cover fire and extracted the squad.[5]

Batman, Green Arrow, Oracle, and Robin attended a meeting of Batman's team, the Justice League, the Team and the Outsiders on the Watchtower, while the rest of the group called in from the Batcave. After Nightwing officially announced the "Anti-Light"'s activities, Black Lightning was elected the League's new leader, and Batman agreed to fold his group back into the League and Team.[4]
