Chief was a member and founder[2] of the Doom Patrol.
History[]
Not much is known about Chief, except that he founded the superhero team Doom Patrol in 2011.[2] He died with fellow teammates Negative Woman and Elasti-Girl in an unspecified mission[3] in 2015,[2] of which Robotman was the sole survivor.[4]

Background information[]
- Dr. Niles "The Chief" Caulder was the leader of the Doom Patrol. He is a wheelchair bound surgeon who brought the team together.
- This is his fourth animated appearance. He appeared in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, in a small cameo in Justice League: The New Frontier, and in the Doom Patrol shorts for DC Nation.
- Chief and the rest of the Doom Patrol were designed for "Nightmare Monkeys" in the style of Teen Titans Go! by that show's lead character designer, Chris Battle. Chris was not told what the designs were for and only found out when the episode premiered.[5]
