Blue Beetle was flying to school, already late. Nightwing and Wonder Girl arrived in an effort to recruit him.[3]

Before confronting their target, Nightwing and Wonder Girl discussed what they knew of the new hero. Nightwing sent Cassie to confront him, as he figured a young girl would be less likely to be perceived as a threat.

Jaime arrived at school and quickly changed. Before he made it to the door, Cassie approached him. He was surprised someone knew his secret, but she and Nightwing offered him friendship.[3]

Nightwing and Wonder Girl continued their attempt to recruit Jaime. Jaime was hesitant, and the Scarab distrusting. He eventually did agree to join them for a mission to Metropolis at least.[4]

At night, he checked out a shed behind the school, that was maintained by Maurice. He did not find Tye, but did stumble on a large collection of pirated DVDs.[1]

Impulse stopped by Jaime's house so they could hang out. Jaime was at first afraid it might ruin his secret identity, but decided to come along.

They headed to the desert to show off their powers in the desert, but were attacked by Aqualad and his strike team.[5]
