In an effort to boost Infinity Inc.'s popularity, Lex Luthor arranged for a fight against a mind-controlled Killer Frost. After a quick victory, Everyman signed some autographs to the cheering crowd. Later, he and his teammates met with Lex inside his limo for a debrief.[3]

Everyman posed as Wilhelm Vittings and led a group of anti-meta thugs in attacking Lizard Johnny. When the Infinitors intervened, "Wilhelm" ran into the woods, and quickly shifted back to Everyman. When Geo-Force found him moments later, Everyman claimed to have not seen anyone.[5]

Trajectory, Everyman and Fury were sent on a mission to Minister Mueller's house. Trajectory and Everyman made veiled threats against Mueller's family to intimidate him into leaving Markovia, as he and his family were not metas. They interpreted Fury's objection as her making the ploy look good.[5]

At the Royal Palace, Geo-Force and the Infinitors prepared to act on Fury's intel on Count Vertigo's whereabouts, hoping to capture the escaped Count and rescue the kidnapped Perdita Vladek. As they went to leave, Baazovi held Everyman and Trajectory back, telling them to protect their king.

They went to some woodland cabins where the armored units that freed Vertigo and took Perdita were spotted. Everyman turned into a raccoon and scouted with Kobold, but it was a trap, and they all came under attack. During the battle #13 blasted Everyman far away from the others. Everyman took on Perdita's form and was then "found" by Trajectory. Brion took "her" back to the Palace at "Perdita"'s request.[6]

Geo-Force escorted "Perdita" to her quarters, and assigned two of his best Infinity Cadets to guard her. Alone inside, "Perdita" remarked on the luxurious accomodations.

Later, Geo-Force debriefed the rest of the Infinitors after they returned without capturing any of Perdita's abductors. Everyman claimed to have tried pursuing them as a bird, but was unable to keep up. They checked in on "Perdita" to find she had disappeared. Brion ordered a search, while Trajectory and Everyman shared sly smiles.[7]

Background information[]

  • Everyman is Hannibal Bates, a member of Lex Luthor's Everyman Project and Infinity Inc. He is a shape-shifter and can change into anyone if he's eaten a part of it—even as much as a toe-nail. He betrayed the group and Starlight (Natalie Irons) on Luthor's orders, killing Skyman. After the team disbanded, he became a mercenary and supervillain.
  • This is his first animated appearance.
