The Chaos LordChild traveled with her protector to the exact spot in the woodland where Klarion had cast his mischievous spell a decade back. Even a decade later, the area still reeked of his presence, of which Child could taste in the air. She conjured a magical pentagram into the ground and put out a frequency to summon Klarion. In due time, he arrived to meet her.[2]
The two Lords of Chaos bickered back and forth about the gravity of their meeting. Soon, arguing gave way to actions and, with no compromise in sight, they clashed. Child's abilities far outclassed Klarion's own, effectively causing him panic for his life. The sudden arrival of Etrigan the Demon to Klarion's aid also failed to turn the tide against Child. In a final show of power, Child buried Klarion underneath a mountain. All the while Zatanna witnessed the battle unfold from a distance.[3]
