Nightwing looks at the picture he took with Artemis on her first day at Gotham Academy. He's waiting for Wally, but Aqualad shows up instead. He is soon followed by Wally and Artemis herself, revealing that her "death" was all part of an elaborate deep cover plan. Nightwing gives Artemis a Glamour Charm to change her appearance to everyone except the four of them present. She leaves with Aqualad. Nightwing expresses satisfaction that the hard part of their mission is over, but Wally is not convinced. He thinks it would only get more dangerous from there on.[1]
Nightwing showed Superboy, Miss Martian, Mal and Wolf the warehouse he had arranged to temporarily house them and the other former Cave residents. Mal decided to make other arrangements.[2]

Nightwing, Superboy, Mal, Lagoon Boy and Beast Boy watched G. Gordon Godfrey's report. Mal would be staying at the warehouse after all, but Nightwing informed the others M'gann had found somewhere else.[2]
Nightwing investigated one of Robin's birdarangs he had found at the Warworld. He watched a news report in which Blue Beetle revealed himself as an ally of the Reach. In anger, Nightwing broke the birdarang.[4]
Miss Martian had brought Lagoon Boy home from his recuperation in Atlantis. As she had broken off the relationship during the trip, Lagoon Boy went straight for his room to be on his own.[5]
Nightwing and Zatanna worked to prove Zatanna's belief that Superboy was still alive. As their investigation continued, they recruited first Tigress, then Rocket, then finally Aquaman to join them.[6]
Layout[]
The warehouse was large enough for the Team to live in and conduct their operations. They could enter the facility through the main garage door,[2] or from underneath the building via a hydraulic lift.[5] The warehouse had two levels, connected by a flight of stairs. The ground floor featured a large, holographic computer, a workbench, and sleeping quarters. By contrast, the upper level was a small lounge area, which had a flat-screen television and several wooden and cushion chairs.
