The Forest Hive[1] is a Bug hive on New Genesis, the former hive of Forager and Mantis.

A trade deal with "Orion" went awry when he failed to pay the Forest Hive Bugs for their crystals. Forager called in the Forever People. They found evidence of human involvement, so Bear recruited the Team to help. Miss Martian determined that "Orion" was telepathically inflaming the Bugs' anger, and realized he was in fact her brother Ma'alefa'ak. Though the Team defeated Ma'alefa'ak and his meta-human thralls, Mantis did not believe the New Gods were not responsible, nor that he had been manipulated. He banished Forager for helping the Team and Bear.[2]
By late January 2019, Mantis had left the hive and joined the forces of Apokolips.[3]
