Characteristics can also include their type of laugh, but having a loud laugh for example would have more to do with your personality. So I think either "Characteristics" should be changed back to "Physical appearance" or "Characteristics" should be a subcategory of "Personality" (or the other way around). -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 22:57, October 23, 2011 (UTC)

I agree. I believe that Characteristics should be more of the character's personality or how they act. On here, Characteristics tend to describe their appearance. --JuniperAlien 23:42, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
That section was originally called "Appearance" but once we implemented the "Appearances" to list the episodes in which a character appeared, we renamed it to "Characteristics." ― Thailog 23:53, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
It was like that on my wiki, but we've renamed it "Physical Appearance" instead in order to differentiate them. Just a suggestion. --JuniperAlien 00:23, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
There's already a section for personality, "Personality". I prefer "Physical Appearance" over "Characteristics". --Tupka217 07:06, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
I didn't say there wasn't a "Personality" section. That wasn't my question. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 15:39, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
"Physical Appearance" sounds great. Rassilon of Old (Wall - Contribs) 09:13, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
Actually it's "Physical appearance," but I agree. ― Thailog 11:43, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
I really don't understand the different between having capital and then lowercase. Someone please explain to me? Lol --JuniperAlien 05:10, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

It's actually a ridiculous issue we're having over at Avatar Wiki at the moment. There are two general types of title formatting, Sentence Case and Title Case. Sentence case is the proper format for titles and headings, which is first word capitalized and all others uncapitalised, unless of course it's someone's name, for example, Physical appearance. Title Case capitalists all words, except for "and", "of", etc. and is incorrect, for example, Physical Appearence. We use Sentence Case, which is the correct formatting for encyclopedias, where as Avatar Wiki has Title Case, which for some reason people thinks looks better, but it's incorrect in an encyclopediatic context, and we're having a huge problem trying to change it.
