As she was about to exit their apartment building, Mrs. Berkowitz was surprised to run into "John Jones", whom she had not seen for weeks. He explained to her that he had been traveling.[2]

- Ida Berkowitz was the next door neighbor of Supergirl/Linda Danvers when she was living in Chicago during her second ongoing series, Daring New Adventures of Supergirl. She was a kindly, elderly lady, who settled in the states after she lost her daughter in Auschwitz, an ordeal she survived. Her daughter would return years later as Supergirl villainess Blackstarr.
- This is her first animated appearance.
