Katana is a member of the Justice League. She resigned from the League to join Batman's team, until the team was folded back into the League.
History[]
Early history[]
In 2013, Katana became a hero in Japan.[3] Katana joined the Justice League around December 2017.[4]
2018[]
|
She attended an emergency League meeting in which Batman proposed to dissolve the team, as a result of the restrictions placed by the United Nations on their actions. After he tendered his resignation, Katana was among the ones who promptly followed suit, presumably having planned it in advance.[5]
She subsequently joined Batman's new covert group.[6]
|
Katana joined Batman and Metamorpho on a reconnaissance mission in Santa Prisca to follow a lead on Tara's abduction. Once landed, they split up, with Batman going one way and Katana and Metamorpho another. They found out that Lady Shiva was there and they followed her to a landing pad. After being told by Oracle that they had enough information, they headed to the docks. Batman was fighting Bane, and Shiva and Deathstroke ambushed the other two heroes. Katana faced Lady Shiva while Metamorpho fought Deathstroke. They traded opponents, which allowed them to stall the fight for long enough for Oracle to pick them up via the Batplane.[6]
2019[]
|
Katana was among the members of Batman's team in the Batcave who called in to a meeting of the Justice League, the Team and the Outsiders on the Watchtower. As part of the meeting, it was decided that Batman's team would be folded into the Justice League.[7]
