A Krolotean ship touches down in New Orleans.
Krolotean ships are large vessels used by the Kroloteans both as interstellar transportation and as bases when landed on planets.
Capabilities[]
The ships are capable of interstellar travel and planetary landing.[1] They can even operate when hidden underground.[2] The ships are equipped with many external energy weapons, and carry a large number of mechs, which provide both utility and offensive capabilities. The ships' hulls are not particularly sturdy; Superboy and Beast Boy were easily able to break their way inside.[1]
The ships used by the mission to study Earth were equipped with Zeta-Beam platforms, based on tech stolen from Sardath on Rann.[1] The ships have holding cells for prisoners.[2]

Early history[]
At some point prior to 2016, a Krolotean captain paid off a member of the Rannian Science Command to allow him to land a ship near Ranagar. From there, his people stole Zeta-Beam technology from Sardath. They equipped their ship and another with Zeta-platforms and sent the other the Earth, which landed and was hidden underground in New Orleans. From there the captain led the Kroloteans in infiltrating the planet[3] to study its people and the Meta-Gene.[4]
2016[]

When the ship was infiltrated by members of the Team, the captain first ordered his people to attack. When they realized one of the intruders was (or so it seemed) one of their competitor's warriors, he ordered an evacuation and the destruction of the ship. The Team was able to escape with the human prisoners and a Krolotean captive before the ship exploded.[2]

The Team's Zeta-squad found and infiltrated the Rannian ship-base. As they prepared to destroy the Zeta-platforms, the Krolotean captain and his crew from Earth arrived. The explosives then detonated. Believing the Earthlings had followed them, the captain ordered a pursuit in mechs, which he led himself.[1]

Once satisfied, the captain ordered the ship prepare to leave. As it began to take off, Superboy and Beast Boy boarded the ship and began to wreck it, prompting the second-in-command to abandon his captain and leave immediately, though the infiltrators disembarked before the ship left.[1]
