Larva is a young Bug from New Genesis and a member of the Mountain Hive.[1]

Larva and the rest of her hive celebrated Forager for obtaining the Ruction Cell. When the New Gods arrived to retrieve the device, Forager left the cell with Larva and another Larva while she and the other adults went outside to meet them. As the Larvae listened to the conversation outside, they did not notice the device was being tampered with by a camouflaged figure. The larvae decided to run away with the device to keep it from the New Gods. In the forest, the device shocked the other Larva, causing him to drop it. They found a switch which caused the device to shoot a bolt of energy, destroying a rock. They began to shoot the device over and over again, making it easy for them to be found. By the time Orion, Rocket, Forager and Forager arrived, the device began to malfunction again, discharging bolts of energy uncontrollably. One bolt hit Orion, sending him into a rage, leading him to attack the larvae and knock the cell away from them. Flash arrived soon after and rushed the larvae to safety.[1]

- Ruction Cell: Forager entrusted the stolen sell to Larva and Larva while she and the adults tried to get rid of the New Gods. The device went out of control and was eventually reclaimed by the New Gods.[1]
