The Ma'arzuu Beast is an animal on Mars that can inflate its body and float like a balloon. Its tongue is also so sensitive that it can taste particles in the air.[1] They live in the underground caves of Mars.[2]
When Beast Boy accompanied Miss Martian and Superboy on their trip to Mars, he took on the form of a Ma'arzuu Beast to better adapt to the environment.[1]
