  • Are good.  Keep it up!

    • Thanks Zerg, encouraging as always haha. Although with other interests, schoolwork and the fact the series is done for awhile I really don't know how often I'll be editing.

  • I believe you are familiar with our policy of not deleting threads. Applies principly to user walls as well.

However, I agree with the sentiment, so just try not to do it again. K?

    • Thank you. Finally I can edit again although the series is over. Also it's kinda hard to avoid being banned when I was unjustly banned for a month in the first place. Nonetheless I will try to be more wary of any chances of this happening again whether I deserve it or whether an admin makes an assumption and decides to ban me.

    • All good.

Word of advice though, to avoid that sort of thing, make sure your edits (particularly the ones that you make when you're closing in on badges), are infallible.

Or, that you have a comprehensive argument ready to present in favor of the edit (which doesn't go against Policy, of course, otherwise it'd be shot down despite any comments you may make).

  • I was waiting to see if Tupka was going to write something, but doesn't seem like it so here it is: (though this really is stating out the obvious)

    • Being blocked does not mean "you just cannot edit with your blocked account". It means "you cannot edit in any way, shape or form". And you were told at least twice that doing so is ban evasion.

    • Not your profile.  Your Message Wall.  As in, right here: http://youngjustice.wikia.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Banan14kab

As for the status on Young Justice, episode 20 will air on March, and Cartoon Network has not announced ordering a new season.  Draw your own conclusions (and let's not discuss that further in here).

  • You added the images template to subjects that have been mentioned only, and you've added the expansion category to two future episodes - there's no image for those, or expansion. You even circumvened the protection on "Intervention" and "The Hunt" by only adding the category and not the template.

And now, you've got a badge for adding x pages to a category. So you vandalized the wiki to earn a badge. Badge editing leads to blocks on this wiki, so congrats, you're blocked.

      Loading editor
    • I really want to know how I'm such a "vandal" and "repeat offender".  You know I do my best to contribute to the wiki. I won't get the 60 day badge now because of this block, but do you think I'm crying over it? No. I simply did what I thought was necessary or alright. Liek when I made the Size alteration article becuase there wasn't an article for it. Do you really think I'm some little kid that wanted a prize on the interet and attempted to vandalize the wiki to do so? When I talked ot Regulus and Zengrinch about it they reasonably explained without blocking me. I mean seriously?! You interpret the story how you want to and block me based on an assumption and make it look like I terrorized the site on purpose. Also if the pages are protected wouldn't that mean no one shoudl eb able to edit on it? Inclufign adding categories? NExt time don't bother with the sarcasm. Just say I'm blocked. And if badge editing leads to blocking then everyone shoudl eb blocked. I bet there are users out there who edit for badges and don't get caught. I commented on 10 different blogs. You wanna block me for that too?! Honestly I could understand my blocks before even if I was mad, but this time it really is unfair and bullshit. My previosu blocks were more deserving than this and I mean that.

        Loading editor
    • Psch..like you really' know that I edited to earn the 50 categories badge. What nonsense. You don't even know me and you're goign to judge my actions over the internet like that. I bet you were just looking for an excuse to bust me. "Repeat offender"... yea ok...

        Loading editor
    • Deep breath.  Relax, this is just another site on the Internet.  We're all fans here, it's not serious business.  Don't take it personally.

In the real world, you are not judged by your intentions.  Everyone judges you by your actions, and imputes intentions based on their own subjective biases.  Is that fair? Of course not, but who said life was fair?

If you wish to continue participating on this wiki, wait out your ban.  Calling out the admins is a poor choice if you want to stay.

        Loading editor
    • I do want to stay...I really do, but things like this make it difficult. Then they'll say "if you don't liek it then leave." which I would do if there was another or better YJ wiki out there but there isn't. Anyway I calmed down somewhat, still pissed I won't be able to edit until the season is just about over. I actually look forward to editing on the wiki. I can't even be first since I am on my school's campus with limited cable. Anyway thanks again Zerg. I think this is like my third ban you've advised me through.

  • Banan14kab, I've been exercising an uncharacteristic amount of patience with you but it's starting to run thin. I've had enough with your stubbornness and refusal to heed everyone's warnings. For someone who has been around for over a year, you know surprisingly little about how things are done here. If a senior editor undoes an edit of yours with an explanation, then don't engage in an edit war, engage in a conversation. If you remove a post of yours and an admin restores it, then don't delete it back. If an admin deletes a message of yours with an explanation, then don't restore it.

Also, exercising a little common sense from now one wouldn't hurt. Do you really think that no one else thought about asking Gweisman questions before? Do you think us that dumb and you that groundbreaking? We don't ask him questions that we otherwise would in AG. He sometimes browses the talk pages and offers some clarification, but we don't ask him for it.

Please wise up. I'm tired of arm wrestling you.

    • I try to be respectful and and I do read other user's warnings. I don't just brashly go in without thinking it over. Also I've written messages on your and Tupka's walls many times along with other users like Regulus so you can't say I've never engaged in conversation. I don't always just revert the edit. Also about my post on the talk page for the profile image change. I thought it was embarrassing posting my topic and no one responded so I wanted to just delete it, but you had to restore it. I didn't know nothing was to be removed from talk pages. Sorry, but I really didn't. I was just getting rid of it because it was embarrassing and the Luthor image was already resolved. Next, I simply asked Greg a question. I forgot that he said he wouldn't answer YJ questions on here. Those messages were hidden and I didn't reread them when I posted my question. Did I say I was such a genius for asking him a question? No...I even said on Asasmi's talk page that other users asked him questions and I just realized that you removed mine. I restored it, but deleted it after I read the messages on Greg's wall again to check. I know you think I'm whiny and self-victimizing, but you also kind of push the envelope...I never thought I was hot stuff and better than anyone else especially for doing something so trivial as asking Greg a question. I don't want trouble either and arguing over the internet is pointless, a waste of time and energy and makes both of us look bad. Also I know how Greg operates on here. He even replied to my topic on the Zeta Beam talk page. I'm not as ignorant as you think I am. I'm more mindful of my edits, so please don't start anything. I know you're being as straightforward as possible so I'm not going to generate anymore static between us. Let's just edit the wiki the best we can.

Well that's just it. Regulus and I told you not to ask questions on Greg, and still you ignored us and assumed you were entitled to do so. Not only that but you also completely contravened me, saying "Greg didn't need an admin to speak for him". Maybe I did what I did for a reason? A reason you later came to realize on your own and accept.

I push the envelope? I've blocked people for less infractions than those you've made. If anything I've been a pinnacle of patience, and yet I'm being accused of provoking you? That's fine. This will be the last time I give you any kind of warning.

Well I thought that only he had the right to remove it as it was his message wall. So yea I was a little angry with you. I didn't realize until afterward it was for a good reason like you said. I mean it's not like I can tell you who to talk to on here. But anyway I understand.

I do appreciate that as I've had more than my fair share of blocks on here. And I just feel provoked because of some of your erroneous comments such as the circumstances of me asking Greg a question. You made it seem like I was egotistical and self-centered when I am clearly not. Also I'm really trying to make peace here. I don't know how you've acknowledged the points I've made, but please understand I'm trying to make amends. We're acting like a pair: you're an officer and I'm a criminal. Can we just get along and be productive? Do you accept my olive branch or not?

        Loading editor
    • It was not egotistical and self-centered, so much as stubborn, as pointed out in the topic. If an admin removes or deletes something, it's more than likely it's for a good reason. If you hadn't removed your post in the end, I can almost guarantee you'd be blocked by now.

No one will tell you that you can't communicate with anyone, not even with Gweisman, but since he has made it clear that he will not answer questions here, then they will be deleted. Why? We don't want him to feel harassed and scared away. Even the harmless "You are great" posts must be patrolled closely, lest they become a trend and equally bothersome.

All I'm asking is for you to assume good faith when your edits are undone or deleted, don't take it personally and especially don't engage in a pissing contest. If you can do that, we'll get along famously.

  • We don't need Disambiguation pages for every character with the same name when they are already linked in their hat notes. Ivo links to Ivo android and vice-versa. Same thing for the Robins.

      Loading editor

    • That was discussed before. Morrow has a disambig page because both articles have sidenotes. The android needed a sidenote for obvious reasons and the human too because despite being the real deal, his role is minimal compared to that of his android replica. Without it, people searching for "T.O. Morrow" would be directed to the minor character, whereas with the disambig, they can choose. As for Ivo, it's the other way around. The human is the main character, while the android has the minimal role. So when they search for "Professor Ivo" they immediately go to the main character, who has a hat note to the android. And it's also convenient for linking purposes so that we don't need to use pipe links for Ivo every time we need to link it.

  • Sorry, but it was. The gang fight was referred to gangbangers as "the Big Bang" before it was going to come down.

The fault is partly my own. I used the term gas explosion, but that never happened (in the comics). The gas came from tear gas grenades the police used, not from storage containers on site.

      Loading editor
    • Wait really? Was this in the comics? I guess you're right though because the whole event (the gang fight and explosion) were referred to as the Big Bang in Static Shock. You should check the descriotion of the Big Bang in its article on the DCAU wiki since you're an admin there. Also a more general question: I know in the comics the police aimed to tag gang members with radioactive gas, but where exactly did the Quantum Vapor (Q-Juice) come from? I am referrring to the comics only since I've seen Static Shock.

Uhmm... I WROTE that article about the Big Bang. In Static Shock, the Big Bang refers to the explosion, which was a result of a stray tear gas grenade hitting canisters of gas stored at the docks.

In the comics, it was a bit less friendly. An attempt by the mayor, Alva Industries and the police to get rid of the gang problem, they decided to use tear gas laced with a radioactive marker. That way, everyone who was there could be tracked down with a geiger counter the next day.

The marker was De-Quantified Plasma, or Quantum Juice. It was actually created not by Alva, but by villain Doctor Nemo, who wanted to create more supervillains.

    • Ok I did not know the info in the last paragraph. Interesting. Also I read the Quantum Vapor article on the DCAU wiki and what you re-iterated makes sense. Also I didn't mean any offense by my suggestion that you should check the article...I was just pointing it out to check for consistency with what you said...
