The Meta-Human Youth Center.
The Meta-Human Youth Center is a community center in Taos formed by the Justice League and STAR Labs to help children and teens who have been victimized by meta-human trafficking.
History [ ]
2018 [ ]
Kaldur'ahm and Eduardo Dorado Sr. officiated the grand opening of the Center. It was broadcast on GBS . The Center received donations from the Wayne Foundation and Goode World Studios .[1]
On November 1 , the Justice League brought a number of meta-teens liberated from multiple trafficking depots to the Center.[2]
On November 7 , Gretchen Goode , Lex Luthor and Lena Luthor donated 16 million dollars to the Center at a ceremony held there.[3]
The MHYC held an induction meeting for its newest clients.[4]
Ed provided counselling for some of the new metas. Among them was Wendy , who's attempts to control her powers went poorly, leading her to decide to wear an inhibitor collar .[4]
Ed organized a Harvest Festival for the metas at the Center on Thanksgiving. Onslaught attempted to kidnap the metas but were thwarted by members of the Team .[5]
Ed showed some of the metas the livestream of the Outsiders first mission in Brooklyn .[6]
Following a mission to Santiago de Cuba , the Outsiders brought several rescued meta-teens to the Center, including one who could only breathe underwater .[7]
The Outsiders and the Team brought Lia Briggs to the Center from a mission in Bwundasa . Ed and his father got into an argument, as his father was concerned about the danger Ed had put himself in. Ed and the Outsiders stormed off.[8]
2019 [ ]
The Center's staff processed the large number of metas brought there by the Justice League after liberating The Orphanage .[9]
Wendy chose to remove her inhibitor collar .[10]
2020 [ ]
Dinah held one of her monthly group therapy sessions, with Lia , Violet , Tara , Leslie , Andie , Vic and Gar in attendance.[11]
