Miss Martian and Superboy
Lagoon Boy and Miss Martian

During December 2015, Miss Martian was assigned to help safeguard a political rally, but found herself going to the rescue of Superboy and several Leaguers who had been kidnapped by an alien instead, before facing off against another alien invader with the Team and the League. In the wake of her break-up with Conner, she found herself growing closer to Lagoon Boy.

Before he started his briefing, Nightwing wanted to know if Miss Martian and Superboy could work together, without their recent breakup getting in the way. They both agreed they were professional enough to do it.[1]

Clark Kent met up with the Team. Jimmy wanted to show his old acquaintances how his mustache was growing, but neither Megan nor Conner could notice anything different about him.

Clark spotted Devastation, and excused himself. But almost immediately, Devastation, Superman and Superboy disappeared in a flash of light.[1]

After the three disappeared, M'gann contacted the Cave. Mal conferenced in the League and Alpha Squad, and they discovered Zeta-radiation coming from the Moon. Nightwing formed M'gann and Lagoon Boy into Gamma Sqaud, and sent them to the Moon.[2]

M'gann said goodbye to Gar, and linked up with the Bio-Ship. Lagoon Boy gave her the helm.[2]

December 1, 11:02 EST

As the Bio-Ship made it past the Watchtower, Lagoon Boy and Miss Martian received news that a force field had trapped Metropolis. Lagoon Boy reasoned that the two events occurring at the same time could not be a coincidence.[2]

December 1, 17:13 UST

They discussed their travel; Miss Martian thought they were going too slow to save the captured heroes. She inadvertently showed concern for Superboy in particular, which Lagoon Boy noticed.[3]

December 1, post-19:36 UST

Gamma Squad discovered the location of the captured heroes, and found it was a spaceship, on the move. Miss Martian informed Red Tornado, who instructed Miss Martian and Lagoon Boy to follow, as it was their only option. However, Miss Martian did note that the vessel had a head start, and they could not keep up if it entered light speed.[3]

Gamma Squad continued to pursue the alien vessel.[4]

December 1, 22:48 UTC

Lagoon Boy expressed his true feelings to Miss Martian of being accepted into the surface world. Miss Martian assured him that she was the same way on Mars, and revealed to La'gaan her true form. Lagoon Boy was unfazed by her appearance, prompting Miss Martian to take on a female form of Lagoon Boy. As the two were about to share a kiss, the Bio-Ship alerted them of an unidentified object in close proximity.[4]

Kylstar's Vessel

The Bio-Ship moored underneath Kylstar's Vessel. Miss Martian detected no airlocks, meaning only she could phase through, and Lagoon Boy had to stay behind. He accepted his part, and wished her good luck.[5]

Seeing the potential of the prisoners, Kylstar decided to gather them all in the main hall and explain the situation to them. Superboy and Miss Martian questioned his motives, but Vartox explained to them Kylstar was speaking the truth. Kylstar would move everyone who did not want to join him back to their own worlds. Miss Martian, the other Leaguers, and the majority of the villains, wanted to leave. Kylstar teleported them away.[6]

The Collector's Ship
December 1, 19:01 EST

They were teleported onto the Collector's ship, where Nightwing quickly brought them up to speed. Lagoon Boy destroyed the coludroid attacking them.[6]

December 1, 19:03 EST

Dozens more coludroids arrived, and surrounded the heroes and villains. Nightwing and Atom convinced the Collector to stop his machinations and leave the planet.[6]

December 1, 22:03 EST

The heroes gathered in the park. While the leaders discussed the coincidence of two alien incursions on the same day, Lagoon Boy, Captain Marvel and Miss Martian noticed the villains were missing.[6]
