Early history

During World War II, the All-Star Squadron was based in New York, at the site of the World Fair. In 1945,[7] Firebrand was killed by Dragon King at the headquarters,[2] and interred in Queens.[3]

After the Justice League defeated Amazo in Litchfield County, Connecticut on August 3, half of the android's body was to be transported to STAR Labs facility in Manhattan. During the transport, Ivo's MONQIs managed to steal the parts, and brought them to Gotham City instead.[4]

Artemis and Zatanna go on patrol, and stop multiple crimes. They were eventually confronted by Harm, who wanted to kill them as training, should he ever have to face the Justice League. Harm is defeated with help from Secret.[1]

In the United Nations building, Lobo tried to capture the secretary general Tseng, but got ambushed by Batgirl and Wonder Girl. Lobo eventually prevailed and revealed Tseng to be a robot operated by a Krolotean. He left with the alien.[6]

As G. Gordon Godfrey led an anti-Reach demonstration,[14] The Reach prepare to leave the Earth. Before they could depart, the Team raided the flagship hovering over the UN. After a pitched battle, the delegation's leadership was incapacitated, but at the cost of Green Beetle's scarab.[15]

Fireworks explode over the city, as humanity celebrated its freedom from the Reach. Superman, Captain Marvel, and all three Green Lanterns escorted the Reach flagship as it left its perch over the United Nations building, and departed the Earth.[15]
