Non is a Kryptonian and a former prisoner of the Phantom Zone.
Physical appearance[]
History[]
Early history[]
At some point, Non was sent to the Phantom Zone and came to serve the House of Zod.[1]
31st century (original timeline)[]
Non was among the followers of Dru-Zod released from the Phantom Zone by the United Planets and resettled on Daxam. Within 15 years, Zod took his followers to a nearby world with a yellow sun, then led the empowered group in an uprising against the United Planets. They were all sent back to the Phantom Zone by the Legion of Super-Heroes, save Lor-Zod, who was spared due to his youth, and went back in time to the 21st century to prevent the Legion's formation.[2]
2020 (revised timeline)[]
|
Non and his fellow Kryptonians came out of the Zods' encampment to greet Dru-Zod and his new guest, Superboy, and at Faora Hu-Ul's urging they all knelt before Zod.
Later, he worked with the others to continue building the structure.[1]
|
Non worked with Superboy, moving a large rock. A retrieval portal opened up, and Non leaped into it, but he was not recognised as the subject for release and was deflected back. Non watched as Dru-Zod was pulled for retrieval, only for Superboy to try to stop him, and the portal to close before he could get through.[3]
|
The Zods and their followers caught Nightwing, Zatanna, Rocket, Kaldur'ahm and Tigress approaching Superboy. Dru attempted to persuade the group that they should all be released as their sentences had long been served, and had his followers attack to force the issue when the group refused. Nightwing's team was easily captured, but escaped thanks to a glamour spell.
Soon after, a boom tube opened up. Zod decided to go through with Ursa, Faora and Superboy, leaving the rest behind until he knew it was safe.[4]
|
Faora returned through the boom tube and relayed the general's orders to gather the rest of the army, but the tube closed shortly after, only to reopen again a little later. Nightwing's team defended the tube to prevent anyone going through. Zatanna used magic to force Kru-El, Vor-Kil and Jax-Ur to fight each other, until Non stopped them. Faora urged her fellows to build their rage to summon a Devourer. As it approached, she had the Kryptonians calm themselves, leaving the Devourer to attack their foes, forcing them back into the boom tube. After Faora attempted to get through the tube, only to be stopped by the team and dragged off by the Devourer, Non and the rest charged into the tube. Rocket blocked the tube with a force bubble, and when the tube began to destabilize due to being open for so long, Non and the other Kryptonians retreated back into the Zone.[5]
|
Non and Faora came through a newly opened boom tube while the others gathered the rest of Zod's army. As Zod's group was under attack, they joined the battle, with Non fighting Nightwing and Tigress until they were able to maneuver him into a boom tube and back to the Zone.
Over the next few days, Klarion hunted down all the Kryptonians in the Zone and placed them in stasis on the Warworld.[6]
|
Non was held in stasis as Vandal Savage and Ultra-Humanite admired their new captives.[6]
Powers and abilities[]
Even without exposure to a yellow sun, Non has a degree of super strength and enhanced durability. He punched a sidewalk bare-handed, crushing it without injury.[6]
While in the Phantom Zone, it is possible to manifest certain abilities through sheer force of will. Non has learned to make himself intangible at will.[4]

- This is his second animated appearance. He first appeared in the animated series DC Super Hero Girls.
