The Premiere Building seen from above.

The Premiere Building is a tower in Hollywood, California. Its two-story[1] penthouse is the headquarters of the Outsiders, which is funded by Beast Boy, who uses his pay checks from Goode World Studios to get back at Gretchen Goode.[2]

Beast Boy introduced the building to his fellow heroes as the headquarters of the Outsiders, complete with all kinds of equipment their team would need, like a mission room, separate rooms for everyone (including those not in the team), even an empty space reserved for a future Zeta-Tube.[2]

M'gann showed the Outsiders a video of a Reach attack in Brooklyn, and Beast Boy hit the Troub-alert to summon the rest of the team. They then left for Brooklyn via the Zeta-Tube.[2]

After receiving intel on a meta-trafficking lab in Cuba, Beast Boy and Geo-Force took off for Happy Harbor via Zeta-Tube, to rendezvous with the rest of the Outsiders.[3]

Forager, Terra and Halo chose to remain at their school in Happy Harbor, which required them to get up at 4:30 to compensate for the time zone difference. Before leaving, Helga Jace told Violet that they were dying due to a problem with their healing powers.

When Forager and Tara returned from school, they trained with Tigress.[3]

In the Premiere Building, the Outsiders were relaxing when Helena Sandsmark, Eduardo Dorado Sr., and Jay Garrick showed up to speak with their wards about their heroics. Garfield received a call for help by a girl in Ireland, so he, Blue Beetle, and Static left the Premiere Building to help her.[4]

Forager brought Vic Stone back to the Premiere Building after finding him in the street with Fatherbox tech spreading. After his friends went in pursuit of help, Silas Stone arrived to help his son. The others returned with Metron and used his Mobius Chair to heal Vic.[5]

Beast Boy and Geo-Force returned after a mission against the Condiment King. Later, Gar and Vic experimented with Vic's powers in the gym, leading to some damage to the roof.

Later, Vic and Violet sensed a Motherbox in distress and boom tubed out. They returned later, and a seriously ill Nightwing was taken to the medbay.[6]

Dick continued to suffer severe after-effects from exposure to the X-Pit, with his family and friends gathering at his bedside, but Helga Jace was able to stabilize him. After an impromptu meeting of the "Anti-Light", Jeff realized the group had been secretly working together and angrily confronted them, leading to a number of heated conversations. After Helga abducted Brion, Tara and Violet, Brion and Tara returned to detail Jace's betrayal.[7]

Everyone lamented their failure to find Violet when Vandal Savage arrived to provide her coordinates. The Team then prepared to rescue her and boom tubed out.[8]

Violet, Vic and Gar babysat Lian Nguyen-Harper while watching the news. Metron arrived and boom tubed away with Vic, Violet and Lian before returning them moments later.[10]

The Outsiders gathered for a mission responding to Hurricane Amy. Beast Boy chose to stay and try to sleep.

Later, Gar came out of his room to watch the news. He returned to his room after a minute. There he struggled to sleep, and kept listening to a song from a memorial to Superboy.[12]

The wave of energy caused by the arrival of Child on Earth passed though the building, momentarily disorientating Blue Devil.

Later, Devil questioned why Andie was doing Gar's chores, and checked up with Gar, who insisted he was okay.[13]

Gar fell asleep while looking at pictures of himself, M'gann and Conner, after taking some sleeping pills.[14]

Wonder Girl activated the Troub-alert for a mission against the Headmaster. Beast Boy slept through it on the couch. Stargirl woke him, but he chose to stay where he was.

Gar was still asleep when the Outsiders returned. After Stargirl confronted him, Gar stormed off to his room. Later he slept there, after taking a mixture of different pills.[15]

Perdita Vladek visited Gar. She tried to help him deal with his grief, but he insisted he was okay. She found his stash of medication and pleaded with him to get help, but he rebuffed her.[16]

M'gann staged an intervention for Gar with help from Wonder Girl, Blue Beetle, Static and Robotman. It was unsuccessful.[17]

Wonder Girl participated in a leadership meeting about Perdita Vladek's abduction, then assured Gar he and the Outsiders would help her, once they knew where to look.[20]

Wonder Girl took a call from Geo-Force and "Perdita", following the latter's "rescue". Gar felt something about Perdita was off. Cassie checked in with Raptor Squad, who were busy, but later reported to her that they had gotten the desired intel from Joe Henchy, but it suggested that Count Vertigo was not behind Perdita's kidnapping.[21]

Following news that Perdita had not in fact been rescued, Wonder Girl and Beast Boy received an update on the investigation into Perdita's abduction, including a lead on a LexCorp Robotics factory.[22]

On the helipad, Wonder Girl, Terra, Superboy, Stargirl and Beast Boy got ready to leave on the Super-Cycle to rescue Perdita. Cyborg opened a boom tube for them to Madinat Altharwati.[23][22]

Notable features[]

  • The Hub: The central area of the headquarters acts as the mission room, with a holographic computer interface and a secured link to Watchtower systems. The room doubles as the Outsiders' "super stylin' living space", and the holographic interface offers TV screens and table hockey.[2]
  • Kitchen: A fully stocked kitchen and eating area, overlooking the city.[2]
  • Living quarters: A number of spacious separate bedrooms above the mission room, enough for everyone including those not in the team.[2]
  • Med Bay: A room filled with advanced equipment to treat injured members.[5]
  • Gymnasium: A room filled with exercise equipment and serves as a training area.[6]
  • Zeta-Tube: A Zeta-Tube allows the Outsiders to teleport anywhere in the Justice League's network of tubes.[2]
  • Balconies: The penthouse has several small balconies,[5] plus elevator access to the large rooftop terrace.[6]
  • Helipad: A landing area for compatible aircraft, including the Bio-Ship.[2]
  • Elevator: An elevator[6] direct from the lobby is the only conventional entrance.[1]
