Mary and Rudy listened as their son recounted how he had gone on a mission with Robin and Aqualad, and freed Superboy. He welcomed their new guest, and allowed him to stay at the house.[1]
On the morning of Wally's sixteenth birthday, Rudy offered to take Wally to the DMV after school to get his driver's license. Wally was not in a rush to drive due to his super speed. When Wally said that the Team was throwing him a surprise party in the afternoon, Rudy suggested that Wally should ask a teacher for the definition of surprise.[4]
