Sam Register is an American television producer and businessman. He is the president of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, making him an executive producer on Young Justice and other DC Comics animated projects.
His recent executive producer credits include Teen Titans Go! and Justice League Action for Cartoon Network.
Before Warner Bros., Register was a producer and senior animation executive at Cartoon Network for ten years, where he developed such hits such as Ben 10, Teen Titans, and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, which he created. During his tenure as a Senior Vice President at Cartoon Network, Register helped grow CartoonNetwork.com from a small marketing portal to an exciting kids’ entertainment destination. After creating CartoonNetwork.com, Register came up with the idea of Cartoon Orbit in 2000. He was the creative director of Cartoon Orbit during 2000 and 2001.
Register joined Warner Bros. Animation as a producer in November 2007 when he inked a multiproject development and production deal. The following year, he was promoted to WBA's Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, and was in charge of running the day-to-day operations of the unit, overseeing development and production. In his current post as of 2014, Register is responsible for overseeing the development and production of new animated series and shorts television, and content for digital platforms. He also works closely with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on the Studio's animated original movies for the home entertainment marketplace.
