Sandman[3] was a member of the Justice Society of America.

Sandman wears a regular suit and tie with a cape and a fedora. He hides his face behind a gas mask.[4]

History[]

Early life[]

Wesley Dodds was born in 1914.[2] He became the Sandman in 1939.[5] He was a founding member of the Justice Society of America.[6]

He, along with the other members of the Justice Society, publicly accepted/inducted Red Tornado into the group.[4]

  • This is Sandman's second animated appearance. He debuted on Batman: The Brave and the Bold less than three months before his appearance on Young Justice.
