Star City International Airport is a large airport in Star City.[1]
History[]
2010[]
On the night of September 29,[2] Oliver Queen went to the airport to pick up Dinah Lance. He was delayed by the traffic caused by the enhanced security for Princess Perdita Vladek's arrival. As he arrived, Ollie saw a familiar face.
Inside the terminal, as Perdita came down the escalator in the terminal, several assassins attacked, shooting members of her security detail. Green Arrow intervened to help the princess.[1] After disarming one assassin, Arrow carried Perdita away and out of the building, onto the runway. Taking cover behind a baggage cart, they discussed why Perdita was being targeted; they surmised her uncle Count Vertigo was after the Vlatavan throne. They made a run for it as things were quiet, but then Arrow was hit by a pair of Merlyn's arrows.[3] After taking refuge behind another baggage cart, they tried to make a run for it, but Merlyn blew up the cart, send the pair flying onto a baggae conveyor, which took them inside the building. On the conveyor they were attacked by Henchy, who Arrow was able to dispatch. They were then dropped into the baggage claim area, where Merlyn was waiting for them.[4] Meanwhile, Dinah's plane was held up on the runway due to the incident. Arrow challenged Merlyn to a duel and won, knocking the assassin out with a trick arrow, but he and Perdita then came under attack by Count Vertigo. Vertigo was stopped by the arrival of Black Canary. Arrow then proposed to Canary, who accepted.[5]
