Courtney is a tall Caucasian woman with a slim body. She has blond hair and blue eyes, and has a small mole above the right side of her mouth.[3]
Her uniform comprises a red, white and blue ensemble. She dons a blue halter-top with long sleeves, running down slightly above her wrists, and matching skin-tight shorts with white stripes on the bottom hems and on the side. To hide her face she uses a domino mask that also covers her entire forehead. The suit has four stars sewn in: one on her forehead, another on each side of her arms, right below the shoulders, and a larger one on her chest. Finally, to complete her suit's Stars and Stripes motif, she wears red gloves with rolled cuffs, a matching belt with a round buckle and matching boots with white stripes around the bottom and the collar.
Stargirl wields the Cosmic Staff, a six-foot-long, golden rod with an eagle-beak-shaped tip.
Courtney gave the latest updates on the Outsiders, who were becoming more popular than ever. Later that day, she covered the Outsiders mission in Cuba, going on to say that their popularity had surpassed even that of the Justice League's.[4]
Stargirl responded enthusiastically to the Troub-alert. She called on Beast Boy to join them, and was disappointed when he went back to sleep.
Later, the Outsiders returned from their mission against the Headmaster. Stargirl woke Gar, who was still asleep on the couch. Gar walked off, upset that after being criticized for not sleeping enough, now he was sleeping too much.[10]
Stargirl noticed Gar was distracted looking at pictures of Perdita Vladek as the Outsiders readied to go on a mission to rescue her, and expressed concern that the mission was too personal for his first back with the Outsiders.[13]
Gorilla Squad boom tubed to the LexCorp Robotics factory, but were immediately faced with a number of Lex-Bots. Stargirl and most of the squad charged inside, where they were confronted by Onslaught. Stargirl fought Shimmer.[14]
Stargirl knocked Shimmer out with a high kick, leading to the Outsiders overpowering Onslaught. Miss Martian then arrived and disabled Metallo. The group then boom tubed to Baby with Match in tow.[16]
Stargirl is a member of the Justice Society in the comics, though she did occasionally team up with Young Justice earlier. She carries on the legacy of Star-Spangled Kid and Starman.
This is her fourth animated appearance. She appeared in Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Justice League Action.
