Steve Lombard, nicknamed Stompin' Steve Lombard, is a radio host with his own sports show, The Steve Lombard Sports Show, produced by Goode World Studios.[2] He also provides sports coverage for the Daily Planet.[3]

Superboy listened to the Steve Lombard Sports show on his phone while waiting to begin a team training session on the beach. Steve was selecting his "All-Star Squadron" of high school footballers, with Henry Heywood High Steelworkers's wide receiver Vic Stone top of the list.[2]

2020[]

By September 14, Steve worked for the Daily Planet's sports section. His name was used on promotional billboards in Planet Circle.[3]

Background information[]

  • Former Metropolis Meteors quarterback Steve Lombard was introduced in the Silver Age as a foil for mild-mannered Clark Kent. He was crass and rude and liked to pull pranks on Clark, who would surreptitiously get him back using his super powers.
