Name[]

Should we keep it as it is, or go for the parenthesis format? "Robin (Jason Todd)". And if so, should we extend it to Tim Drake? ― Thailog 20:30, September 29, 2012 (UTC)

I think the article's name should Jason Todd and on the top of the character template should be Robin and then Jason Todd name in the real name, like the Green lanterns.--Godblaster (talk) 20:47, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
Considering he is no longer Robin, I think it makes sense to keep him how he is. We dont have Tula as Aquagirl or Ted Kord as Blue Beetle, after all. Kingbirdy 21:01, September 29, 2012 (UTC)

Appearances[]

His appearance is counted as a photo, but it's more like a hologram - a holographic photo. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 23:29, September 29, 2012 (UTC)

Tomayto tomahto. We use the same for images that appear on the holoscreen. --Tupka217 23:31, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
There should be better consistency because on the "Cast and characters" he's listed as a hologram, but on his own page he's listed as a photo. (So that's the differences of "tomato". :))-- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 23:37, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
I had updated the templates to have hologram, but it was removed, so I imagine it will stay this way. Kingbirdy 23:39, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
I undid that for the reasons stated by Tupka. A hologram is basically a 3-D photograph. Maybe we should change it to "picture" and this way it would encompass holograms, screen pictures and photo-pictures. ― Thailog 23:43, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
What about 'image'? Not to be a pedant, but in my mind picture and photograph are the same thing, but image would be all encompassing. Kingbirdy 23:48, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
Fine by me. But we already have "i" for "illusion". "im"? ― Thailog 23:53, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
Could just keep it at p and change the text. Heck of a lot less work for the same effect. Kingbirdy 00:14, September 30, 2012 (UTC)
That's even better. ― Thailog 00:16, September 30, 2012 (UTC)

Structure of Article[]

I think that the first paragraph and the history section are too verbatim. perhaps we should shorten the first paragraph to simply state the fact that he was the first Robin and then leave his death and being succeeded by Tim Drake in the history section? 130.58.65.10 10:18, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Not what "verbatim" means. But it does duplicate info. --Tupka217 10:26, October 7, 2012 (UTC)
