Move to Super-Cycle? Edit

Sphere's just a name from its early days; even towards the end of s1, it was strictly called "Super-Cycle".--Tupka217 18:33, April 29, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe it's premature. ― Thailog 18:34, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
I say move. Rassilon of Old (Wall - Contribs) 20:51, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
I disagree. I propose renaming the article as "New Genisphere", and creating sub-pages for its various forms as Sphere, the Super-Cycle, and Pillbug. If I recall correctly, Superboy called it "Sphere" in 204 when he told it to transform to bug form. - Edited by Zergrinch - 02:58, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
New Genisphere, or New Genesphere? I don't think subpages are needed, they can just be sections. --Tupka217 06:59, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
I have always spelled it as "Genisphere". This wiki likes to use E, while the other wiki uses an I (in all pages related to YJ except "Super-Cycle". I personally use an I because "Genesphere" lends itself to splitting it into "Gene + Sphere".
But, of course Greg's spelling should prevail - I don't suppose this has appeared in the comics yet?
The reason why I propose splitting into sub-pages, is because I thought we would like to distinguish which episodes each form appears in. I'd thought it's too cumbersome to keep a combined tally on the same page.

Superboy still called it "Sphere" in "Salvage". ― Thailog 10:58, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

In the last episode Superboy called it New Genisphere though. felinoel 19:01, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

...and "Sphere," twice. ― Thailog 18:11, May 22, 2012 (UTC)

True, so it sounds to me that Sphere is its nickname, especially since the people who knew what it was called it New Genisphere. felinoel 13:57, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
Which is why I favor renaming it as "New Genisphere" - it's a more appropriate term for the article. All the other names are just nicknames for its various forms. - Edited by Zergrinch - 14:41, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
Which is exactly what I was getting at, go for it. felinoel 14:42, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
Since we don't know if it's New "Genesphere" or "Genisphere", I think it's fine at Sphere. --Tupka217 15:41, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
Interesting point. felinoel 15:58, May 23, 2012 (UTC)

New "Genesphere" or "Genisphere" may be her real name, but so is M'gann M'orzz, J'onn J'onzz, Kaldur'ahm, Bruce Way, etc. We don't name articles after their subjects' real name for a reason. ― Thailog 17:54, May 23, 2012 (UTC)

I just noticed that for Dudley H. Dudley too. User PageƒelinoelTalk Page 18:00, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
