When I think of an object it's usually something you can hold. Something that the Watchtower is not. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 06:57, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

How has no one noticed the watchtower?

It's a giant space fort the size of a football stadium! You could totaly see that with a decent telescope. —The preceding unsigned comment added by Zaxopify (talkcontribs)

On the timestamp, the name contains the definite article. Shouldn't the article be named accordingly? ― Thailog 18:04, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Eh... maybe. How is it referred in dialogue? -- Supermorff (talk) 08:27, April 13, 2012 (UTC)
With a The. --Tupka217 (talk|wall) 08:33, April 13, 2012 (UTC)
Then I suppose we should rename it. -- Supermorff (talk) 09:33, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
Isn't this similar to the whole "The Team" vs. "the Team" debate. Just because it's used in the timestamp it doesn't make it correct. It's just how they've chosen to present it. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 08:22, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
Actually the discussion was about whether we should rename this page ("Watchtower") to "The Watchtower" per the reasoning above. We already did. ― Thailog 15:15, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
I understood what the discussion was and I didn't think it was closed. Having "the Cave" is fine because it's a little obscure, but "Watchtower" isn't. Having "the Watchtower" is like having "the Hall of Justice". -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 18:48, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
I don't see much difference between using "the Watchtower" and "the Team". ― Thailog 19:42, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Room/Region Pictures

Shouldn't we add photos of inside the watchtower? There are some pretty interesting and important sections of it. Also a pretty significant and pivotal moment in the show happened on it too. And it has also been featured more frequently now and more prominently in the Invasion. —The preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

We only know the observation deck by name, that's the bubble on top. The rest, for as far as we've seen, is either storage or hallway. --Tupka217 21:34, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

I may be being pedantic here, but I read Brandon's blog as saying that Hal and John towed a decommissioned GL station to Earth for use as the Watchtower, not that they towed in an asteroid, built the Watchtower, used it for GL purposes, decommissioned it, then used it for the Watchtower. And that seems more likely given what Brandon said about it not being built by the JL - after all what's the difference between Hal and John building it in Earth's orbit for the GLC and them building it for the JL? -- Psypher 12:53, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

Upon rereading, you are totally right. --Tupka217 13:07, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
