Teekl is the second familiar of Klarion, after the death of the first one, and his anchor on the Earthly plane.
Physical appearance[]
Just like her predecessor, Teekl resembles a domestic cat with ginger fur, red eyes, and tiger stripes. However, unlike the former, the latter is still just a kitten. Before she became Klarion's new familiar, Teekl had no stripes or markings at all and her eyes were yellow.[1]
History[]

Outside the Old Salem Animal Shelter, the stray cat rubbed on the front wheel of the school bus possessed by Klarion, calling his attention. He decided she would be his new anchor, as she came to him. Klarion decided to name her Teekl and the cat immediately then took the likeness of her predecessor, all the while remaining a kitten. This allowed Klarion to be corporeal again. He doted on his new familiar, before he took her with him as he and the magical heroes departed to fight Child.
They went to the ruins of the Tower of Fate and summoned Child using Teekl's mew, suitably amplified with a megaphone conjured by Klarion. Teele sat on Klarion's shoulder as he and his allies fought Child. Child impaled Klarion through the torso with a large shard of earth. But Klarion was okay so long as Teekl was okay. After the battle was won, Klarion removed the great shard from his chest, leaving a gaping hole. Teekl moved into the hole and lapped up Klarion's blood from her paws. Klarion teleported them both away.[1]

In the Tower of Fate, Zatanna, Nightwing, Tigress, Rocket and Aquaman summoned Klarion (and thereby Teekl) to try to get him to save Superboy from the Phantom Zone. Their attempt to contain Klarion proved ineffective, and after a losing battle Zatanna invoked the Lords of Chaos, who spoke through Teekl, to force Klarion to honor the debt he owed her for bringing him back to the mortal plane. Klarion chose to honor it by sparing them, but not help them, and teleported away with Teekl.[2]
On or around September 13, Teekl slept on the Warworld's command chair.[3]
Powers and abilities[]
Teekl is Klarion's anchor and familiar on the earthly plane. If the cat were to be killed, her master would be thrown back to his own dimension. Teekl is able to communicate with her master telepathically.[1]
