  • More great news for Young Justice fans. This rumor has been floating around since October, I believe. Now, DC has finally confirmed it in their latest press release. Yep, Young Justice is even bigger than Titans. And mind you, the last episode of Young Justice aired almost 6 years ago. A fourth season is all but guaranteed, and even more in the future. DC had better take notes!

Thank you to Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, and all the talented artists who brought this show to life. And to the fans who've supported it through thick and thin.

    • I really hope they have already green-lit season 4 and simply won't announce it until season 3 has finished its run (or later). Otherwise it will be at least two years from whenever they green-light it until the first episode drops. Season 3 started pre-production on November 2016 and two years later only 18 episodes are ready.

    • I imagine pre-production on S4 wouldn't be quite as long as S3. They won't need to get the band back together, no need for the writers to refresh themselves, much of the core (re)design work is already in place etc. That, plus the fact season 3 isn't finished yet, gives me some hope it won't take that long.

It may be frustrating that the live action series are getting renewed before they even premierre, but bear in mind that their seasons are really short. I certainly never expected that S3 would have 20+ episodes when it was first announced, and they could easily have marketed it as two thirteen episode seasons, similar to what Netflix did with Voltron. I'm glad they didn't go that way, and if that means waiting longer for a renewal announcement, I can live with that.
