Is it possible that whoever uploaded them had initially added them to articles and that they were in use, but that someone could have removed them? Instead of deleting them, why not restore them to where they would belong?

I also don't understand stuff like deleting [[Richard]] as a redirect. The use of redirects is pretty fluid, and there are many cases where people end up typing <nowiki>[[Robin|Richard]] or [[Robin|Dick]]</nowiki> over and over again cluttering the source when a redirect would make it a lot simpler.

It makes me wonder, is there a way to scan for stuff like that or is there bots programmed to do it? I could understand it as being a way to detect spam redirects but some of the stuff seems kinda common sense to be a short or alternate reference. Many people don't necessarily use the title of the page when referring to a character so pointing the names there helps in locating it for whatever form of reference is used, and for people unfamiliar with the show.<ac_metadata title="Unused images"> </ac_metadata>

Regarding stuff like File:Ocean Master painting.jpg and File:Dick training.jpg, they sound like files which may have at some point been used either on character pages or episode pages.

Is it possible that whoever uploaded them had initially added them to articles and that they were in use, but that someone could have removed them? Instead of deleting them, why not restore them to where they would belong?

I also don't understand stuff like deleting Richard as a redirect. The use of redirects is pretty fluid, and there are many cases where people end up typing Richard or Dick over and over again cluttering the source when a redirect would make it a lot simpler.

It makes me wonder, is there a way to scan for stuff like that or is there bots programmed to do it?
