Wilhelm Vittings is a Markovian man.

Physical appearance[]

Wilhelm has red hair in a buzz cut, freckles and green eyes. He also has a scar on his head and a spiderweb tattoo on the right side of the neck.[2]

History[]

2017[]

Wilhelm was not happy with the influx of Quraci refugees in his country, and didn't mind sharing that. He protested outside the airport where the refugees arrived, and threw a bottle at one of them.[2][3]

2020[]

Wilhelm was believed to be a leader in the anti-meta-human movement in Markovia, and Brion Markov was particularly concerned with his capture.[4]

A group of anti-meta thugs, led by what appeared to be Wilhelm but was actually a shape-shifted Everyman, pursued Lizard Johnny. Johnny was saved by the Infinitors, who captured all the thugs except "Wilhelm", who appeared to slip past Everyman in the woods.

The real Wilhelm's status is unclear.[4]

Appearances[]

Background information[]

  • Wilhelm's spiderweb tattoo is likely a nod to his voice actor Josh Keaton who voiced Spider-Man on The Spectacular Spider-Man, another show produced by Greg Weisman.
  • In the comics, Wilhelm Vittings was the first Markovian prime minister. He was an isolationist bureaucrat and a stooge of Psycho-Pirate (who impersonated Baron Bedlam). This is his first animated appearance.
